ANKY Salinero FEATURES
1 | Panel
The Anky Salinero employs the revolutionary AMS panel system. AMS uses advanced materials to provide a soft uniform layer between horse and rider. This layer absorbs impact and re-distributes weight and pressure across the horses back evenly allowing the horse to move with comfort and freedom.
The AMS system combines wool flock with a specialist layer of neoprene. The neoprene contacts the horses back providing a soft layer to redistribute pressure and even out any imperfections that may be created by the flocking above. The flocking gives an additional adjustable layer that can be manipulated to customize the fit of the saddle to the horse.
The Anky Salinero is also available with an STS panel.

2 | Tree and Seat
The Anky Salinero is built on a RD DUPONT tree. The tree is lightweight and flexible and facilitates easy and free movement through the horses back. Secured with an integrated head plate, the tree gives a good clearance over the wither.
The tree is designed to lie close to the contours of horse and encompasses a narrow twist, positioning the rider as near to the horse as possible: excess bulk is eradicated. These features embrace Anky’s philosophy that the channel of communication established with the horse through the seat needs to be as direct and clear as possible.
3 | Girthing System
The Anky Salinero features a three point girthing system. The front girthing strap is secured in a fixed position, while the back strap is free to react to pressure and move to align with the first strap. This girthing system ensured that pressure is distributed evenly between the two girthing straps. As the tension is equal on both straps the saddle will be secured in a balanced position.

4 | Knee Blocks
Leg position determines a rider’s ability to precisely communicate with the horse. As demonstrated by Anky, clear and definite communication from rider to horse is paramount. Consequently, the Anky Salinero features two different lengths of adjustable Velcro knee block.
Commonly, the short knee block suits a rider with a shorter femur, while the longer knee block accommodates a rider with a longer femur. In practice the adjustability of the blocks allows the rider to determine block length and position to suit their individual requirement.
