GFS Guide to... Washing & Caring for your horse clothing
Inevitably your horse’s
wardrobe will get dirty
and need cleaning.
Follow these instructions
to ensure the best life
for your product...
- Before washing, remove excess dirt and mud with a hose
or stiff brush. Fasten all Velcro tabs, otherwise this will
reduce their effectiveness.
- Either hand wash or machine wash your rug/blanket
(front-load machines only, please!) on a gentle cycle.
- Use only cool wash temps. (max 30°C, 85°F) and mild,
non biological detergents – otherwise you risk damaging the
unique waterproof, breathable coating.
- Line or drip dry (never tumbe/machine dry!).
Do not iron or dry clean.
- Store your GFS rug/blanket in a cool, dry area.
