1. Unscrew the top screws located left and right of the front of the saddle.
  2. Pull the panel down from the point pockets at each side enabling you to see the gullet plate fitted into your XCH saddle.
  3. If your saddle has a strap attached to the point, firstly pull the panel down from the point as far as it will go. Then, feed the strap back into the panel to allow the point of the tree to be released enough for you to be able to remove the gullet plate.
  4. Turn the saddle over and release the leather gullet from the pins either side. Peel this back to reveal the whole of the gullet plate.
  5. Turn the saddle back over and locate the bottom screws located left and right of the front of the saddle and unscrew.
  6. The gullet plate can now be removed.
  7. Put your changed gullet in place. Whilst holding the gullet in place turn the saddle over. Locate the bottom screw left and right of the front of the saddle and replace the screws.
  8. Turn the saddle back over and reattach the leather gullet over the pins.
  9. Turn the saddle over and re-fit the panel into the point pockets one side at a time.
  10. If your saddle has a point strap attached push the point of the tree into the pocket as far as it will go. Then, pull the strap out from the bottom of the panel. Then make sure the point is in the pocket as far as it will go.
  11. Ensure the panel is forced completely into the point pocket on the panel.
  12. Re-fit the top screws into the socket.
  13. Repeat this process on the other side.
